Add your loved one

Share their name with us.

This wall is for victims of violent crime. It honors loved ones whose lives were taken by violence, such as homicide or a violent attack.

Add your loved one's name, their forever age, where they lived, a photo and a few words. Every memorial is reviewed by VINA before it appears on the wall, so this remains a safe and respectful place.

We also ask a few private questions about what happened. They're never shown on the wall, and they help us honor your loved one by turning their story into change.

Only share what you're comfortable with. You can ask us to update or remove a memorial at any time.

Approved memorials appear on the Memorial Wall at VictimImpactNetwork.com.

Step 1About you

So we can reach you with care if we have questions. This is never shown on the wall.

Step 2Your loved one

Their name, forever age, RIH date, the city and state where their life was taken, photo and your words will appear on the wall. Everything else you share stays private with VINA.

Step 3Helping us honor and advocate

We ask every family these questions before a loved one is added to the wall. Your answers are kept private and are never shown on the wall. They help VINA show lawmakers the patterns behind these losses, so other families may be spared. If something isn't known yet, that's okay. Just choose that answer.

What is VINA?

A national network for families impacted by violent crime, and a voice for change.

VINA, the Victim Impact Network for Advocacy, connects families who have lost someone to violence with others who understand, and brings their voices to lawmakers working on public safety and victims' rights.

VINA welcomes every family impacted by violent crime. Our advocacy centers on repeat violent offenders: people the system already knew were dangerous, and the families left behind when bad policies let them back on our streets.

VINA was founded by Amber Wood after her daughter, Karly Rain Wood, was killed in Omaha in 2022 by a repeat violent felon.
